The main attraction here at Coco Tulum will be the beach front hangout area, equipped with a bar, a small section with seats and tables, comfy bean bag lounging area and plenty of beach chairs. As with most places along Tulum beach, you may be required to buy at least a drink in order to play on their playground, if you are not staying as a hotel guest.

My favorite plate to grab here is their Catch of The Day. Simple, fresh oven-fired white fish served with roasted vegetables and a savory sauce. Yum.

The staff here are super friendly. Their classic all-white aesthetic with an unobstructed view of the beautiful turquoise blue water right in front makes this a bucket list item that you must check off while visiting Tulum. It’s a great place to stop by for an hour or two, especially during the heat of the day. However, I would save this for after your finished with your “sight-seeing” or other “errands” for the day, as this place has a way of putting you into full relaxation mode. It’s tough to do anything much after this besides chill and nap… or maybe that’s just me?
Relaxing at Coco Tulum
As for the rooms, I found Coco Tulum to be simple, pleasing, relaxing and quaint.

Private bathrooms are not available here, but they do keep the community bathroom really clean and inviting. It’s worth the savings in my opinion, just because they are sure to keep the shared bathroom space as clean as possible – not that this place is cheap, by any means. You can expect to drop anywhere between $200-$300 a night for a room like this, depending on the season.

Anyways, I am always sure to stop by this place whenever I visit Tulum. Last time I visited I spent way too much time here, but that was because I was staying right next door and the space is way too pretty. I don’t regret it, the food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The best place to chill and relax.
